#4 for me, just gotta love that exhaust. Same engines as Concord ya know, Rolls Royce Olympus. OK, they are modified for Concord (without an 'e')

Nice shots Mike, what airfield is that and where / when is the air show ?

Will the Vulcan be flying ?

Airfield is Bournemouth .. Airshow started today on the sea front and runs until Sunday night.

Weather looks terrible from now on.

It's the one problem I have with the K-7.

I am so used to the viewfinder on the K10D allowing me a bit extra round the image and I forget the K-7 has 100%.

OR

I could just say that's how I wanted to crop it so it draws the eye to the exhaust heat.

Very good Mike, but there seems to be a colour cast. She seems to have the blues a little.

I'm jealous that you get to see the take off and landing, but at Shoreham we only get the display.

Yup, I am going to have to work on that a bit .. does seem a bit blue.

Not seen the takeoff but am thinking I may go to the airport Sunday instead of the show .. its quite a small runway and you can stand right at the end so it should be pretty impressive.

How wonderful that this special aircraft is flying again. Against all odds, too. Nice shots, Mike.
Best wishes,

Andrew

All nice and sharp Mike.

No. 2 I find really striking. Definitely my favourite.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Apparently.

Nice set Mike.
2 & particularly 3 are my favourites. I find the parachute a bit distracting in 1, although I expect the pilot was glad of it!
