I wasn't too happy with the images I got yesterday evening, then compounded matters by losing part of my tripod into the Mersey

But here are a couple I'm happiest with. Although, I can't decide about the wheel, it doesn't "ping" at me...if you know what I mean.

C&C welcomed.

The actual wheel is fine...it's the rest of the image that's a bit ordinary.

But now we come to the chain...it's so good I wish I'd taken it. I love rust and decay (I'm getting treatment for it). This is a fine involving image.

Did you use the 1.7?

Well done.

Andrew

I'll have to check the EXIF, but I think that was taken with the kit lens.

And yes, James, I did think of attaching it to my tripod just in case.

Love number two, the colours are great. Held a piece of card over the left of the first one to turn into a vertical shot and I think it looks better, but thats only my opinion.

Might try a portrait crop. I don't usually like portrait orientation, but hey; if it works :winks:

Well, I cropped this as you suggested and it has improved it.

That's what I meant earlier...the whell's really nice and now you've dispensed with the rest of the image!
