TT do you know if the family have said if they would like a donation in his memory to a favourite charity?

I never met him, but he was so special here I would like to honour him in some way.

Very sad news. Although I did not know Tony, his positive attitude and appetite for fun ran through his posts and contribution to the forum. He will be missed here, and sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Same thoughts here. May his memory live on through his family and friends, and what I am sure will be a wonderful legacy of photos.

Gwyn - that hadn't struck me - good idea - I'll ask Emma .

Friday's thread will , in a way , allow us who are unable to be there other than in spirit , to share in the farewell to Tony .

Hi I'll pass the link on to Emma of this topic.
I'm sure it will be of help to her in the difficult time.
If you want to private message Tony, then she can pick up those messages.

A little more to add to my post from this morning

Emma told me that Tony passed early on Wednesday morning - and Jo was with him.

For those of us who liked Tony's photos of Cyril/Cyrille I have hunted one out that always appealed to me

I didn't 'Know' Tony but sad to lose a talented photographer with a nice sense of humour....R.I.P.

OK further to Gwyn's post up thread a little

Emma has given me details of a most appropriate charity , and any donations that people would like to give should be sent to the Funeral Directors direct.

Should anyone be willing to donate - Please PM me for the details - I don't want to put details of this sort openly on the Site .

A pleasure to have known Tony. Always up for a chat. As for his "Cyrils" well, to him they became a focus and his pix are our memories.

RIP Tozza will raise a glass or two.
