Already got the chair Algi, it is really comfortable and I allow Mrs Snap an hour on Sunday to sit on the Phone Throne while having her weekly natter with her sister.

USB 3.0 is so fast that you can run an external drive as a permanent drive.

I've just been looking at some old tests I did on a P4 3200 box using an adapter card.
W7 64 bit and direct USB 3 will be even faster, but 143MB/s READ is impressive.

A single SSD would do about 500MB/s but these are max figures. Actual normal use probably wouldn't be noticeable.

The 1GB 7200rpm Hitachi is even faster.
