ttl cable advice

hi all,

can i pick up a ttl cable from any brand (apart from sony, because of their odd hot shoe)? i'm guessing the cable is just a dumb connector, so it shouldn't matter what brand it's from, but i just want to make sure.

the pins are in slightly different places ! so if they make contact it should work

coolio. thanks all. i'll be sure to pick a pentax one, just in case. i thought the hot shoe was standarised, but it turns out the pins might be my undoing.

Just got one of these this week gillbod for a macro rig. Looks to be a sturdy cable/connector(s). Don't know what the "Pentax" equivilant would cost
