The interior of this 14th C stone house is very dark, and being owned by National Trust no flash or tripod is allowed. I took these with the K1 and 28-105mm lens, handheld and with maximum aperture. The ISOs are as high as 12800 and Lightroom used to reduce the noise and in the circumstances I think the camera performed exceptionally well.

Hi Rob,

Yes, the camera has performed well at high iso's and goes with my own examples of 12,800 and above.

Nicely done, plenty of detail even in the darker areas - it's a location I've tried several times with much poorer results than yours

Some good detailed shots (and good high ISO!)

I agree with Peter - very clean and carefully exposed set of images.
