Go to "My Settings" from the box in the top right of this page and then click on "Profile Information" (the middle tab). You should see the second box down is for your signature - just fill this in and it will appear at the bottom every time you post.

I agree with RR and really I'm not all that interested in what equipment you have although I can understand why others might be. There's always the profile where this can be piled into.

You can get all the key points into a single line. You don't need to list everything you have. You can pop a couple of links to sites too.

I think I've seen some people on this forum (of course I can't remember who) who managed to reduce the font size in their signatures, but I can't see how they did it. Any pointers anyone?
