Nothing wrong with taking pictures of flowers - I made a calender for 2008 for family and friends with some of my best flower photos taken here in Togo and they really like it. I really like the composition with the flowers going diagonally across the photo. However I personally think that maybe it would maybe look better without the bee, or to have concentrated just on the flower with the bee.

I'm still doing flower shots too, in fact about 50%+ of my photography is of flowers so you're not alone!

I think this one is very nice as it is; it probably would work without the bee but I personaly think the bee adds a little interest to what would otherwise be a very static scene. I do love the colours; all those rich golden tones contrasting with the muted greens - my sort of photo!
