I love the shot!
Just two things, it appears a bit under exposed so could do with a bit of levels tweeking and there seems to be some CA above the glases.
A great picture, full of personality though.

It works fantastic, Nimitz!
On my monitor the exposure looks spot on, although I can also see the slight CA above the glasses. The vignetting suit the picture. Well done!

I think it works very well, apart from the strange edge effects.
A very good photograph, but I hate it. The combination of innocence (baby), fashion (sunglasses) and age (the sardonic expression - coincidence, of course - wrinkles around the eyes, which will disappear in time) creates a dissonance for me that I find quite unpleasant.
As art, I think it's very good. As a baby photo, horrible.
There you go, you did ask

I'm really glad you all took the time to give some feedback. I think it is quite interesting things you all note. Thats what I like about it.
I tried to do some PP work on the shot. The CA - is not CA - it is really trace of the highpass filter. Might overdone it last night. Thanks for pointing out.
Chris - excellent comments. Some of them I didn't think about in the photoshop process. The glasses. Well she loves them - and I find them quite funny on her
Thanks all.

Thanks all.
I took a picture of my son in sun glases, it works for me!

Single flash - hand held. Used my sigma 105 macro - and a bit of PS for the PP.
