I did say somewhere, but to save you looking I have health/mobility problems which make carrying this beast around a bit of a problem.why did you wanna get rid of it.
However if I do decide to keep it, it wont be completely useless to me, my local RSPB reserve (Fairburn Ings) is the place it gets most of its current use and my favourite spot for shooting is only a few hundred yards from the car park, and as an added bonus there is a bench a few feet from where I usually shoot

Oh .. I actually thought you was joking Dave that's why I didn't mention I was moving back to Spain tomorrow.

Hmm, similar combo that I've recently tried. I had the 7D + 15-85 and 100-400L. Oh .. I actually thought you was joking Dave that's why I didn't mention I was moving back to Spain tomorrow.

It will be very interesting to hear what you think about the trio. I will keep my views under wraps until then!

For anyone interested here is the link to some Bigma OS pics taken with the 7D on my Flickr ... First day I nearly put it back in the box to wait for pickup as I was totally lost when it came to the 7D but had a better day yesterday. Nothing special (I really like the cat and the swan with the outspread wings though) as this is more about just getting out and grabbing some shots. I must say the new Bigma is a very good lens, I would say the OS is no better than SR on my K10D but the HSM is nice and quick (and quiet)and it's more contrasty (is that even a word?) than the original 50-500mm. As a combination I would rate them as excellent .. hell of a lot of money though.

I'm interested in getting one of these for a trip to Florida to see a shuttle launch next month. Unfortunately it seems they are out of stock everywhere. I called up Sigma to see when the new OS version would be released (dpreview suggested Arpil 23rd) and they were worse than useless. *Taps feet impatiently*
