The Q - Ultimate Stress Test
With a sensor not much bigger than that of a Canon G12 or Nikon P7000...

Other than that, interesting take on it's field capabilities.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.
Apparently.

Doncha love the cult of the review?

I love the fact that even when questioned the author doesn't acknowledge the error.
I've tried to explain it in simpler terms via the 'Post a comment' feature.
I wonder if it gets past moderation?!

As it has been stated in a review that the sensor is larger than the G12/P7000 does that technically mean its now true?

Thanks for that Stefan. The page navigation links on the article completely eluded me.

Yup. We're stuck with it now. My friend has a G12. I was going to post a picture taken with it so interested peeps could compare.

Who cares about the sensor size!, it's the image quality that matters.
All this speculating is getting a little tedious.
Let's wait until the camera is available and see some 'real' results!
I'm not particularly concerned with sensor size per se, moreso with 'reviewers' actually having a clue what they're talking about.
To be fair, there are plenty of 'real' results on the linked articles, so not so much speculation as critique.
That said, I look forward to trying one out myself.

Speculating? The sensor sizes of the models compared aren't open to speculation they have been factually documented by even the manufacturers. ( although now a review has spoken I can understand why their might be some confusion )
