As far as I can tell, the sensors are different sizes. Even if they were, the X10 has been announced after the claim in AP about the Q's sensor being completely new, so the claim would have still been true.

Oh wait I was wrong.... confused between 2/3" and 1/2.3" there for a moment.
The, cough, Fuji X10 uses a much bigger EXMOR R sensor than the Pentax Q
2/3rds = 58.1mm2
1/2.3" = 28.5mm2
TWICE the area.

This is a much under-publicised feature of the Q, a camera which allows you to take photos without actually using it! See, The Terminator was true all along, the computers really are taking over!

Besides The LORD camera reviewer and/or those proof reading the review is surely expected to know these things?
