I was wondering if anyone had any experience of using this converter with Tamron's Adaptall lenses. Mainly with longer 200mm primes or possibly zooms up to 200mm

I've used mine with the Tamron 180mm f2.5 - stopped down it can deliver fairly good results. Here's one taken at f8...

When used with a lens at maximum aperture it softens significantly, albeit with an effect that will suit some subjects...

It is commonly used with the 35-80mm to bring its macro capability up to 1:1. I've just had a rummage but I can't find any examples. Memory tells me they were OK.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
