Suggestions for lens repairers

I have a Tokina 20-35mm F2.8 ATX-Pro lens. It is a beast and I would hate to get rid of it.
Now considering my 16-45mm is battered and bruised, this could be the best option to replace, short of getting the DA*16-50, Tamron 17-50 F2.8 or Sigma 17-50mm F2.8.

There is one problem. The optics are excellent, but the zoom ring has come adrift from the body of the lens.

So, i am asking, does anyone know of a good lens repair centre (Manchester preferred) that could sort out the issue I currently have?

Advices please

Why not ask the distributers?
Best regards, John

I might do John, although they have not made this lens for years, and I bought it second hand back in 2004.

The other option might be Real Camera Company, but being a classic place, I am a little concerned.

I had a problem with the zoom mechanism of a Tokina AT-X 80-400mm version I that I purchased of eBay, and I sent it to Tokina Service Europe in the Netherlands for repair. I am still waiting to get the lens back from repair, but it seems they have all the parts needed to get the lens back in 100% working order. From what I have read on other forums, there is really only one Tokina service facility in Europe, the one on the Netherlands. And they are supposed to be very good. Well - when my zoom returns I can hopefully verify that

Good luck with your lens, whatever you decide!
