Static build up

While using my Pentax K5 Camera all functions on camera refused to operate shutter release locked etc. it was only rectified by my taking out battery and replacing same battery which still showed full charge that camera began to work does this mean camera is on the way out Graham sorry about miss spelling my problem should read static build up

It happens occasionally and is normally caused by a software glitch - it shouldn't be anything to be concerned about unless it happens regularly.
