Well it rained and blew strong gusts today. Started at Staithes, then onto Goathland for lunch at the "Adensfield Arms" followed by a run over to Robin Hoods Bay. The rain got worse by the time we arrived at RHB. Still, I took the Z out for a shower. It got absolutely drenched. I was all over the place with ISO's just to keep a fast enough shutter available. Nothing spectacular but I enjoyed the day and it's off up to Roker tomorrow after Stans magnificent effort there.

and a shot from RHB which I tone mapped to add a bit of character or warmth.

Camera and lens survived the drenching.

Best regards

Nice set Gary. I think the B&W work particularly well.

It was Roker for me today, Club assignment to the National Glass Center. Worth a visit if it gets too wet.

Its time I started taking a few pictures around Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay. I only ever seem to get to Whitby. I like these Gary they capture the atmosphere of the area. I think I prefer the colour picture from RB best of all.
