I volunteered to help out at this mornings Midnight Walk in Durham, there were over eight hundred ladies taking part.It was a bit of a challenge as the red pattern focus assist projected by the flash was a waste of time.
Next year I will leave my Pentax 500ftz & 330ftz at home and just use my Metz 40mz-2.

Rabbits maybe, but I thought that was when Bunnies were most active .

Good event photos. I am surprised the red pattern focus assist didn't help. I used it this weekend with my 360FGZ and was very impressed with it.

Rabbits come out at dusk to feed and that is when they are vulnerable to a marksman with a rifle. I remember a few years ago when I was fishing a marksman was shooting rabbits you would here the crack of the gun being fired then nothing or a sickening thud if the rabbit was hit.

Back on topic, I tried the flashes out on Saturday morning, it was my intention to use the 330 on the camera in SB mode and the 500 off camera as the flash to prevent red eye. I found when one of the cameras was switched to SB it set the other one to SB ( hot shoes & 5p cable was used ). So in the end I used them as above and at times there would have been two beams if both of the flash guns were switched on. I took about one hundred and fifty pictures and had to scrap less than ten, most of which were exposure problems due to the flashes not been charged.
