Owling again last night. Some more high ISO photos, so I'll not bother sharing them. However, while out I also grabbed some photos of some summer visitors. They were a long way off, so these are decent crops.

All taken with the K3 and DA 560

Very nice Alan, second one in particular.

Are you hand holding the 560mm or using a monopod? ... also do you ever use it wide open?

Thanks Mike. The first was inspired by your Red Arrows The 3rd shot is at f5.6

I've generally got it on a Gitzo 5541 tripod, although I have took shots handheld. There are some in this thread. Some I took using Tom's body and card

Cracking, was lucky enough to get quite close wo one earlier in the year (too use my Da*300mm) but didnt get anything this good
