Thanks, everyone for taking the time to look and comment, trying to shoot spiders on webs in the breeze is definitely not an easy task,
I had plenty of nearly shots,
along with a few other smaller spiders that were sharp but just not worth posting.

Fodwick (Richard) I have had a look at your gallery, nothing wrong with your images, the dew on the web is gorgeous.

Harris,
I don't really feel worthy of the praise you credit me with, but, Thank You

TBH this forum more so than any other has helped and taught me so much and brought me and my photography on in leaps and bounds.

So a huge thanks to all of ye forum members

Derek

Spiders? Lovely creatures - do a lot of good in the garden and the house by getting rid of flying and other insects!
(Nothing less than a very "angry" tarantula or similar spider would phase me - OTOH, SWMBO is freaked by anything more than an inch across and so I have to "get rid of it", which, where possible, I do by trying to collect and deposit it outside the house where it can do more "good" )
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Yes I too have a lot of interaction with spiders, as we seem to be spider city in our house, especially when it gets damp outside.

I dont really have a problem with them apart from the annoying feeling of walking into a web. Yes i too use the glass and paper trick to pop them outside...before the dogs can get at them!

I really hate the big house spiders we get this time of year, use a spider-catcher from Lakeland which works a treat and if you can bear it gives you a chance of a proper look before putting it out. And I'll swear the one that was put out yesterday is the same one as the day before!

I read somewhere that house spiders can't survive outside

How would you like it if someone kept throwing you out naked into the snow and locking the door

So should they be clothed before eviction?

No just put them through next doors letterbox like I do

Or you could post them to someone you don't like

I don't know what it is like up north but it's quite warm down here! Anyway they have a better chance than inside a hoover bag.
