Does anybody know, is it possible to use a mobile phone as remote control (especially for my k10d). I see it like a program (kinda java application) installed into mobile phone and simulating infrared signals. Any ideas?

Don't know about mobile phones but some TV remote controls work.

Otherwise £10 from Ebay

IR remote shutter control for Pentax
http://sourceforge.net/projects/prcf/

Looks like I am not the only guy who has pentax and mobile phone at the same time. The application is very simple and I think it's not a problem to convert one for java (not every phone has symian os or etc but java is very popular). The most priceless thing in the project is description of IR signal (if you are interested it's in main.c). Now I think to write something like this one if my search will give me nothing.
