Soligor 135mm F2 in M42

I decided to add a few M42 lenses to the collection and the first is a big lump of 135mm F2 glass from Soligor:

Interesting lens!

Some of the earlier Soligors, made in the 60's were fantastic lenses. They did a range of fixed aperture zooms which performed very well indeed. Later on the moved into the "budget" market and and the lenses from this period were no better than many of the other budget producers.
