Anybody got any experience with this lens?

Thanks

Carl
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

It's a high quality prime lens from the A series. Manual focus, quite a large front element, covers the full 35mm film frame.

It replaced the M series 20mm f4, also an excellent lens.
Best regards, John

Sorry Fritz/Carl... I've completely misread the title!! Thought we were speaking of the 28mm!!

My apologies!!

The FA20 however is rated VERY highly on the other forum... Don't often see them for sale...

I've tried its FA incarnation - FA20/2.8 (which is by some considered finest 20mm lens) and it was very nice...quite sharp for that focal lenght, it handles flare well and produce lively colours. I suppose A 20/2.8 will be almost the same.
Hell,I shoot archaic K20/4 and I'm pleased with its results on K-5...you'll have no trouble with A version
