their fish 8mm is super resistant to flare, why would this be any different. lets wait for some tests, it looks nice.

It was a witticism, alas lost!
I agree it looks the part, we'll have to wait to see if it can fight!
I have a Siggy 8-16 which s also pretty resistant to flare and it's bulbous front element is a lot more extreme than the Samyang 10mm but it looks to be a huge area of less curved glass on the Samyang, as such I'd expect when it does flare it will flare/reflect big time?
The coating had better be good and the optics will have to be stellar to make me even think of parting with my Siggy...
Hope it comes out in Pentax K anyway...

This looks perfect. The Sigma 10-20 appeals to me but it's slow and flares, the 15mm isn't wide enough and is too expensive. If this Samyang performs well, as it should because it's APS-C only therefore the hood is designed for APS-C, not FF, then it could be my wide-angle solution
