I have just tried doing a search for 10-16 and K-m2 and in both cases there are no results. I can see posts with those "words" included but they do not appear.

Same here. I tried K-m2 for my original search, as I was certain I'd seen the same page as in K10d's link

Didn't someone link to the thread on Pentaxforums which had the same things as K-10d's link?

Does the - act as a "do not match" modifier? So you are searching for K without m2 :

Try searching for K*m2 .

Nope, doesn't work (just tried it).

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

It should work in quotes which means an exact match of what is inside ...

"K-m2"

but that does not work either.

I might be "unloved" for this, but the forum software is .... err... pants. That the search is not really usable also does not surprise in this context.

I can't set replies per page, my time zone, editing is plain strange and there's no tagging option.

Using google helps: k-m2 siteentaxuser.co.uk does bring up some results, but the crawler doesn't seem to like the forum software, either...

Well I had some time to kill and did a manual search, and I still can't find the thread. Has it been removed because it linked to another forum?

It would be a bit sad it it had for that reason as I quite often direct the odd Pentax user here so that they can join and take advantage of SRS's free postage offer.
