Well reading through a similar thread I would say yes.
But knowing the NT you will probably find it only applies if your using a compact or camera phone, get the DSLR out and the heavy hand of sucurity will probably throw their weight around
Its a well known fact that security staff are trained to spot a pro-photographer by the size of his camera

No, maybe this really does represent a bit of a concession. I doubt I'm the only one to have given the local NT representative more than a mouthful of opinion on this issue when I met her on a shoot several months ago. I asked her to relay it forcefully to the national recruitment person, who she was on the way to meet.

I agree, any signs of a professional or dedicated amateur and you will be stopped. Posting your photographs could be another problem, they will no doubt say "its copy right protected" and only for personal use.
