It would stay at 18mm but have a field of view of a 27mm lens.
Fish eye effect would not remain.

I have a M42 mount Sigma 16mm Fisheye and when I mount it on my cropped sensor DSLRs, the fisheye effect disappears. When put it on a Full Frame DSLR, the fisheye effect is present.

You'd need something like an 11 or 12mm lens to get a fisheye effect on a C-sensor. Very rare used as not many bothered to go wider than 28mm on film!

am i right in thinking if i put this lens on a dslr it becomes 27mm
if so would i lose the fisheye effect?please advise
