Tamron 17.35 F2.8/4

I am still thinking of buying one of these lenses but cannot decide.
My last post asking if anyone on the forum has this lens showed no joy.So I will ask again-is this lens a decent performer? I want to use it on my Z1-p.

It is a good lens from all accounts, and probably well suited to film but perhaps not digital. A cheaper alternative might be the Vivitar 19-35, which is also good when stopped down a little.
