Hi all... was lucky enough to spend some time down in Sennen, Cornwall over Easter... I've been coming here for the last 40 years or so, and it's always a real treat... managed to get out with the camera on a few occasions when there was a fair amount of weather coming through... all K1, Irix 15mm, DFA 24-70, PLM 55-300...

Bill

What a lovely set. Nos. 1, 2, 9 & 12 are the ones that stand out for me, with #12 as my 'pick of the bunch'.

Wow, what's not to love about these.
2,3, 4,9,10,11 and 12
Great lines in 2 that lead you backways through the image from the natural left to right that we'd normally do.
9,10 and 12 are my standouts though.
I'd love to meet up if you're ever shooting over this side of the pond, again.
Savage set. 👏👏👏
I know what i like, If not always why.

Wow! Got nothing else to say but wow... I'm lost for words... So many good shots!

I do have some critique of 1, 11 & 13.

- 1's receding waves are a bit too distracting. I think that because they are 'wavy' it looks like camera shake. Even though I can see it isn't as the background is sharp.
- 11 just seems too empty but is peaceful and semi-abstract. I think a bit of beach along the bottom would have gone a long way to making it feel less empty.
- There is something I don't like about 13, may be that it is a bit dark or something with the composition. I can't quite put my finger on it though.

The rest are great!

You’ve really mastered this technique and fine art style.

Another fab set Bill...always look forward to your 'location' shots.

Favourites for me are 9, 10 and 1 in that order. Less enamoured with the sand dunes...just my preferences.

These are great, I love experimenting on the Cornish coast and get down there whenever I can. I have found wide angle like 15mm particularly tricky as if I am not careful the points of interest are diminished to a far horizon but your use of leading lines has given me fresh inspiration for my next trip. These have a beautiful slightly melancholy mood powerfully evoked.

Another superb set - printed large these would outclass quite a few "exhibitions" I've seen in Cornish coastal towns.

I know what Rob means about the difficulty of using an ultra-wide - you've made it look so easy

I like the really low viewpoints, in particular the ones with the sandy beach. Otherwise they all have a soft and sophisticated tone, as said above a very polished style you have developed. The best for me are those that have a classically strong (very close) foreground interest and "rule of thirds" layout eg 3, 6, & 9.
