sending a pm

hi all,

i am new to the forum and notice when interested in an item a pm is sent

what is a pm and how is it sent

i notice when clicking a sellers name an option to send a message appears

is that the method

thanks in anticipation of any guidance

Hi and welcome to the forum. PM is for a Private Message sent to another Forum Member. I think there is a restriction on new members sending PM's to try and stop people joining the forum just to send spam/advertising type messages. you can leave a post in a classified advert and ask the vendor to contact you.

Also a new member can reply to a PM they have received ... so if the OP leaves a request for contact he can then respond with an offer.
