I'll watch this thread with great interest as I've just acquired a tablet myself don't throw the mouse away though, use both for different jobs !
I know u can change the Brush settings to allow use of the pad with pressure, but that's as far as I've got. I use LR 99% of the time !!

I got fed up with it the first few days as well.
Just lock up your mouse for a week and after that you will like the tablet more, it's faster and easier on the hand, your wrist will love it.
Great too for burning and bleaching, I wouldn't do that with a mouse for sure.

it automaticly detects and then you can have all kinds of effect linked to it so as pressure controlling the size or shape or more of what you're using.Do I have to change any setting in photoshop cs3 to tell it I'm using a tablet and not a mouse??
