only one of the Yes's is me.

Both units were under warenty and SRS provided their usual fantastic level of support in getting it sorted out. I was only party to it second hand so not completely sure how long it took to get fixed but since we didn't know the camera was broken until the lens came back it was obviously quite a while.
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help

Looks like we have 2 anonymous posters now.

Once again, please detail the lens(es) concerned.

If not, I will only count the "No" posts that are detailed, I feel that's only fair.

This poll is intended to obtain a fair and balanced result. I believe that no one here will flame or blame anyone who reports a fault, I certainly won't.
Best regards

Only one DA* lens (50-135mm). The SDM motor failed after about 16 months and was out of warranty as I had purchased it in the US. Took over two months to repair at a cost of 78 pounds.

Optically, I love the lens. The SDM is so-so. Sorry!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

It would be nice if Pentax could offer something in the firmware/menu so that we could switch from SDM to screw drive (if lens supports it). We could then carry on using the lens in the event of SDM failure plus Unlocker reported AF was a lot faster when using screw drive.
No equipment list here but thanks for taking an interest. My Flickr

I thought that regardless of where they were purchased Pentax lenses had an international warranty. Is this not the case?

My 50-135 and a 60-250.
50-135 fell apart inside, and the 60-250 had focusing issues
