That's amazing. They also offer a trade-in on GX10, which would be interesting for me (as I have a Pentax K10D but my daughter has the GX10). However, even thought they are supposed to be open this afternoon, they don't answer the 'phone.

I have used them before - I bought my K10D and various other bits (tripod, filters, s/hand lens) from them. Like SRS they have a shop (in this case just off the M25/A10 junction) and you need to quote web prices as the in-shop prices are higher than the web prices.

They have been pretty good so far - no complaints. Sadly the staff change regularly. However, they are a Pentax Pro Centre.

I've just read the spec for the GX-20, and it says it has live view - I may very well change just for that.

I think I'll be giving these people a call to see what they're offering PX wise for the GX-10.

nope sorry Mike they use another model of battery grip because the camera's are slightly differend shaped, it might still be that it fit though but I don't think so.

Hmmm... I 'phoned and got offered £80 - £90 for the GX-10 depending on condition and if all cables, etc. are available.

So IMHO a trade-in isn't really worthwhile.

If I was buying new, however, £399 with kit lens is amazing value.

I agree with Mike-p, Ebay is the place. My son bought one off there about September time, paid about 280 for the twin lens kit. yours will sell no problem.

Good luck
Cliff.

With the £100 Cashback a K20D would be £479 or possibly with a Mk1 kit lens £439 (Both SRS). Is it worth paying that bit extra for Pentax? Does the Pentax Remote Assistant work with Samsung or do they have their own version?
