K10D build quality problems?

Over the New Year period, I noticed that the slightly rubbery outer skin of my K10D was coming away from the body in the area of the memory card slot (it's as if it has come unglued - the edge is easy to pry away from the main body of the camera). Has anybody else noticed this, and is it likely to impair the weather proof properties of the camera? I'll try to post a picture as soon as I can get hold of another camera... EM

I have had my K10D for a year and a half and this hasn't happened to mine. If it is still under warranty I'm sure you can get it fixed.

It hasn't happened to my K10D but I have had peeling coverings on other cameras - a dab of Copydex will normally sort things out easily enough

Shouldn't affect the waterproofing in any way.
