Rev 28mm on K-7

I took these this morning, reversing a 28mm Takumar on my K-7,

I used off camera flash on a bracket (Pentax AF360fgz), aperture f16, Shutter 160sec, iso 200

All taken handheld about 3inches away from subject, Uncropped just resized for the web

This ant was guarding the entrance to a cave and wasn't about to let me inside. The ant was about 5mm in size

You can make an adapter easily enough that will enable you to use your ringlash. I made one from the body mount from an old extension tube and a 58mm filter. I just took the glass out of the filter and glued the remaining filter body to the body mount.

This then fits on to the reversed lens and you can attach the ring light to the filter thread.

Works a treat.
