Just looking to replace my K-3 grip and 16-85 after it was stolen a few weeks ago. Have found k-3ii , grip and lens for £1264.00 delivered from Bristol camera`s. Has anyone had any experience with this company or know a cheaper deal that I have missed. Will probably be looking for cash sale and not finance at this point.

Cheers from a newbie

Bristol Camera's are fine and that looks to be the best published price presently.

Cheers looks like a good price and the large retailers all have exactly the same price so would like to put money away from them if possible. I might even try my luck on haggling tomorrow.

Bristol Cameras? I once placed an order with them before checking reviews. I then (after checking reviews on-line) freaked out and cancelled, as it all looked a bit dodgy. So, in the end, there was no personal experience, only relying on people's views.

If you're paying by credit card the card company are equally responsible should you have an issue (Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.) Any company will have issues from time to time, however Bristol Cameras are a high street retailer, not a fly by night web only outfit.

I believe that SRS, who many people on here use and can vouch for have a price match policy. Their customer service is excellent so may be worth a call? They are also a Pentax Pro dealer.

Bristol Cameras definitely do Pentax, but they aren't in Leeds??

I looked in Hull Jessops recently and they had no Pentax gear despite a section labelled in lights 'Pentax'! I'm not sure I ever really understood Jessops after they spread out from their Leicester warehouse, even less since their Peter Jones takeover. It seems Jessops is now a no no for Pentax despite showing up as stockists on Ricoh's 'find a dealer' page.

I've dealt with Bristol Cameras several times and all OK, can also vouch for SRS in Watford and Clifton Cameras in Dursley.

SRS, Bristol Camera, Park Cameras are all firms I've dealt with well. SRS offer two year warranty and free delivery including trade in collection, some do not.

Most of my stuff usually comes from SRS - good people and excellent service, highly recommended. However, for anyone interested, Jessops have three pages of Pentax gear on their web site, and they can also do reasonable trade-in offers. Whether or not anyone decides to use them, at least Peter Jones has given us another alternative to consider.
