Real cheap online processing service

Hi, not long ago I saw a link in a thread, I believe here in the 35mm SLR forum, for a place on the internet that along with doing digital prints and what not also processed E06 or C41 35mm or 120 rolls for £1.95 a pop. Now I am not expecting great results, but that would be excellent for some pinhole madness and well, plain trying it out won't hurt, if they do a tidy job then I would send them oodles of rolls.

BUT, now I cannot find the link anymore, I have searched all morning now, if one of ya'll remembers please could you repost it in this thread?

It's not £1.95, but was it this one? link

The opening post is about a company, and at the end Peter Elgar mentions that he will do B&W for £1.50 a roll.

No that was not the one, but thank you.

B&W I can do myself easy, I cannot be bothered to do C41 and E06 though, besides at £1.95 a roll, ok around £3 each once you factor in VAT and postage, even then. Using Tetenal E06 kits for instance it would still not make economic sense.

Argh, I can't remember, they had some funny name like Gecko print or something, I found a place called Gecko 55 design studio but that was not it.

Heh, I did just find this

Handy if you just want C41 done I guess but I was mainly looking for cheap E06 processing

I use Genie Imaging - it's £1.99 a roll (+VAT and postage) for C41 and E6, 35mm or 120 rolls.

Quality is very good and turn around usually very quick (I send my films off on a Monday morning and they're invariably back on Wednesday morning).

I use Photoexpress in Hull for Dev and Scan at around £5 per roll. But £1.99 is pretty compelling. Good to seen a place doing 120 processing at a good price.

I shoot a lot of C41 120 film and very little 35mm, so Genie have been a godsend to me. I tend to send several rolls at a time though as the postage cost per roll works out a lot cheaper than sending them individually. They always come back via 1st class recorded delivery and the negatives are sleeved and slipped between thick card protectors. Can't argue with the price or the service to be honest...

That was the one I was looking for, thanks Hefty1
I too shot a lot of (mainly E-06 and B&W) 120 film.
I have a standardised process for B&W at home and send the slide stuff to a lab.
