Hi All,

After looking at some of clarkys recent spider pics I thought I would have a go, Only I am a little scared of spiders (which might be a problem as I am emigrating to Oz in Jan)

I went for Bees

I Love bees, nicely done

The first one seems like more of a yellow blob, but it's always hard when the buggers are flying, and better than what I could pull off. The third is my favourite, as we can see all of him.

I agree the first one just looks like a blob but the others are better, I NEVER got results like that when I was shooting on film, its only since I went digital that I got anything worth keeping
My Names Alan, and I'm a lensaholic.

The pup,
Looking at it again I think I had the plant more infocus that the Bee !

Impotentspider,
It took me a while and you didn't see the rubbish ones that I would never post.

Clarky,
I love that first picture in the link you put, I did try and have a go at re-creating it with a big 28-200 jena lens on another camera but it didn't bring it up big enough to be effective.

Thanks for your imput guys, when I get brave enough I might try going face to face with a spider!

PaulM

Paul: When you move to Aust and you are around spiders all the time it becomes second nature and you will lose that fear.
If you are nice to them then they are nice too you
My son wandered around the yard today and collected 7 live spiders in a empty coke bottle
