Blimey I thought it was supposed to be winter over there...12 degrees here yesterday. And summer. Sort of.

Nice light in 2 (nice legs too ). I also like number 3 but don't think it needs the gull (which is too close to the edge of frame IMHO).

Thanks to all for feedback. I sort of titled the image with the gull as the passing moment but I do think it would work without it.

Great series (I'd lose the gull as well If you happen to have CS5 it's very easy: use content aware fill).

The evening light is outstanding Gary. Love the legs as well. Just to be awkward I think you should put the gull back. Right now that bottom corner is a bit bare.
