you are Dutch and therefore love caravans (oh how proud I am to have no prejudices ). Jeremy (Clarkson, the main host of Top Gear) hates them. You might be excused for not liking Top Gear.

But I know what you mean. NL on our license plate means Nur Links oder Nur Langsam for a reason after all.

Clarkson seems a very clever man who manipulates his image to his best advantage and James May (I think it is) also seems to have some intelligence the other one seems barely capable of speaking normally. But the program, oh good grief I just can't watch it, it's banal!

Rather late in life I discovered the joys of maintaining engines etc. and while JC might drive a Range Rover up some lane in Scotland just because he can and get some headlines from irate tree huggers I have the joy of being able to put my 23 year old Land Rover where I want it to go, know its (well my) limitations without a huge support team or many modifications. For the slightly older (ahem) gentleman off road trials are ideal. They are slow and don't hurt!

Ahem.....It was fun, but being totally OT now (mea culpa), let's not forget the original post and the wealth of info ( some very useful) that emerged here. Maybe it's time to close shop, knowing that future questions about bokeh can be redirected to this thread.
