Pulled the trigger (Part 2!)

Hi guys,

Decided to cancel the order with Warehouse Express and ordered through SRS instead. You only live once and got the DA* 16-50mm instead of the 16-45mm. Well, I'm sure the plastic fantastic can take it!

Arriving Tuesday, well chuffed.

Big thanks to Chris at SRS, thoroughly nice guy. Feel so much happier going with them instead of the Warehouse Express.

With the cash back coming into force, it made sense to do it this way, as the Warehouse Express order was on finance, and Pentax said they may not be able to do the cashback deal against that. Also peace of mind knowing bought from a reputable company should any faults develop.

Still not sure where the saying "pulled the trigger" actually came from (although I can make a pretty decent guess)and personally hate it myself but anyway.

Well done, sure you will be a lot happier knowing it came from a decent dealer, I presume Pentax got back to you about backdating the cashback then?

Should be OK as long as I don't register it before the date the offer starts. I'm confident I will be OK.

What do you guys know about warehouse express that I don't? They look pretty good to me.

I am not saying they are not good, however, going with a pro-centre, you get an extra year on the warranty, and more peace of mind should a fault develop. I believe warehouse express are solely internet based. Prices are good, the customer service was good when I arranged finance, but the fact they did not have any in stock meant I had chance to think about it, and decided to cancel, and then order from elsewhere.

Warehouse Express are everything you should expect from an internet dealer. They have a large selection, generally low prices and provided the item is in stock their delivery is pretty snappy.

Chris and the SRS crew are just better is all (personal opinion gained from an ever mounting number of succesful transactions, YMMV, but I sinceerly doubt it).
