Promotion!

How does one get promoted beyond "New Member"? Despite having 40 photos in my portfolio I never seem to progress above the first rung of the ladder.

It is done by the new of posts you make, but we do ask kindly that you do not spam to increase your member status.

You'll get promoted Paul after a relatively small number of posts, and the ranks increase as the post count increases. Just a bit of fun.

Thanks for your help gentlemen. It's going to be a long haul then as I am more interested in posting to the gallery than to the forum. Perhaps that should count too?

No. It is only fun, but there are people who only post in the gallery and never post in the forum. Maybe if they stay at a low count long enough they will come and join in the fun here too. A forum, and therefore the gallery too, relies on it's members actively participating. A slow forum means you lose members which could ultimately result in the loss of both the forum and the gallery.

Stick around Paul and get promoted even higher .
