Hello,
I am having trouble with my Internet explorer. It is doing some very odd things.Sometimes it will completely close the page i am visiting for no reason or it will be very slow loading pages and when i say slow i mean very very very slow for eg i tried to google something and after 10 minutes of the page trying to load i gave up.I thought that it was perhaps the topic i was searching so i tried putting in random things to see if that made any difference but it didn't.Another problem i had was when i was on a forum and clicked on a link and nothing happened i tried to open a new tab and that wouldn't work either and it would let me access any options that are in my tools menu.i had to restart my computer.Just to let you know i have high speed Internet connection. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps me with this problem.

I suppose it's possible that more than one person out there is using internet explorer...

my advice, take your pc to a repair shop, and while it's in there, get your hands on a mac, or linux box.
It's the only way those microsoft users will learn....

Hmmm, at work I beta tested IE7. As a result we switched to Firefox!

Hmmm!

this would have been better posted in the troubleshooter forum.....

Anyway, its quite possible you have some sort of virus or your PC is infected with spyware which will slow IE to a snails pace, check your PC with Spyware Doctor or similar, failing that re-instal XP and make sure you download ALL the service packs and updates. Then make sure you have anti-virus protection.

Not sure why but this exact post under a very similar name has been cropping up on a whole raft of photo forums recently. Something is fishy to me.

if it's spam, then it's got to be the wierdest spam I've seen yet.

My advice, download Opera or Firefox, or maybe even both. I only ever use IE for those ever reducing number of sites which are so badly coded that they don't work in a proper browser.

If you search Google for 'aladavlis' you'll find he'she has joined an awful lot of forums in the last couple of days...

Oh, and according to 'SurvivalForum.com', they come from Afghanistan, yet on 'Podcast Pickle', they're in the USA. And what is this interest of his: 'Car Drifting'?

Well I was only trying to alert the administrators but you all seemed to join in anyway. Just a mild mannered troll I think, but I'm always suspicious of weird posts that come up the same day they joined the forum.

Oh well, some of your quips were funny anyway and maybe that's all he was looking for.

I just had a thought - if IE was behaving so badly for him, how on earth did he manage to post in the forum?
