Personally, I'd pay probably £60 max for the 28mm and less for a 50mm 1.7

Many thanks. That's more than I thought. I'll probably stick them in the classifieds when I have a chance to take some pix.

Lately I’ve found a lot of interest in older Pentax lenses, by the video crowd. With modern mirrorless cameras, you can mount most lense types with cheap adaptors.
Pentax film lenses like the 50mm are made really strong, and have physical aperture rings that are missing on the plastic modern cheaper offerings. They look excellent in videos, and are quite popular because of it.

A good quality A 50/1.7 with no aperture ring problems (very common on that model) could maybe sell for £40 in today's market. The 28mm maybe a little more, the £60 proposed by barkin is about right.
Both are very good lenses, bar any aperture ring problems. The 28mm is superb from f/4 with very modern rendering.

Thanks, Jonathan. The aperture ring on the 50mm works perfectly but clicks more loudly than the one on the 28mm. I'll mention this in the ad in case it's relevant.

If it as problems then the aperture ring will feel gritty when turned. The volume of the click is irrelevant.

Thanks. That's reassuring.
