Just for fun.
What are your predications what Pentax would do/bring out in 2010?

The DFA100WR came as a surprise and it's so good as sure that we will see the 645D finally with the DFA645 55mm f/2.8.
Then there is also a DFA545 ultra wide angle and a DA super telephoto on the roadmap.

Please keep discussion to a minimum, some chatter is nice but no arguments please. We will see at the end of 2010 who is right or not.

My predictions would be:
That the DA super telephoto = DA* 400 f/5.6
DA*30 f/1.4
TC 1.4 SDM
Besides the 645D no new camera.
a WR flash

Edit: grammar errors

A DA* 10-16 WR might be possible but I think a series of lenses for the 645D will be most likely and logical. The K7 will have been replaced by this time next year.

Have you any evidence for any of these or are they purely speculation?

The DA* 400 appeared on another forum and was a very obvious fake.

No all just speculations.
Like I wrote at the top of my comment, just for fun.
I thought that was obvious enough

The underlying purpose is just to see who has the most right at the end of 2010, but all just for fun

I predict that they won't bring out a 18mm tilt shift lens...

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

DA*600 f4 ( I can dream.....)
K8 same dimensions as K7 with new sensor - much better high ISO noise performance and full HD video ( 1920 x1080 at 24, 25 and 30 fps.)contrast based autofocus in video mode, ability to select sdm or screw focus. (14.5 Mpixels is fine for me.)
A DA* or ltd lens with 1.something aperture!

A selection of new 645D lenses (or relaunch of old ones.)

A price reduction in lenses.....
.........all the gear, no idea!
Me super, MX, LX, K5,DA 18-55WR, DA 17-70, DA 55-300, DA40 Ltd, FA50 1.4, Samsung D-Xenon 12-24,Samsung 100mm macro M50 1.7(x3), M28 3.5, M35 2.8, M100macro f4, M135 3.5(+others)

645D (that's a given) plus 3 lenses, wide angle, standard and short tele.
Mid range body between K-x and K-7
SDM WR Super zoom to replace Tamron clone.
Super telephoto lens
Maybe an announcement of a micro APS-C development.
Price increases!
Best regards

a leaf shutter lens 60mm f1.4
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Don - why a leaf shutter? Is it for flash use?

yeah be nice to use studio flash with widee apertures..without needing nd filters.... but I'm also hoping that if they come out with a few leaf shutter lenses in a k mount, then a camera sans mirror box won't be far behind to compete with other micro aps sized formats...

A leaf shutter is good for flash, but outstanding with fast moving subjects. It avoids the distortion caused by a focal plane shutter. If you look properly at race car wheels (when they are moving at high speed), you'll see that they always look slightly ovals due to the travel of the focal plane shutter. This problem disappear with a leaf shutter.

Could they retro apply leaf to a current DSLR?

I guess to do so they would have to close leaf
Open focal plane shutter
Fire leaf
close FP
Open leaf again

That needn't take too long.

Warning display of ignorance follows: I thought you could dial down the power output of studio flash?

sometimes not enough, esp with older gear!

leaf lenses would also help with video... and as Pentaxian450 pointed out sports
