Porthcawl

My wife had to assess someone today at their place of work that happened to be in Porthcawl so I drove her down and hankered around for the 3 hours she was in there for at the pier, well more of a breakwater really. Captured these:

All Pentax K1, D FA 28-105mm, super rock steady Benro tripod and a cable release so I could keep my hands warm in my pockets!

Great images. Not sure which one I like the most. 3, 5 and 6 are great but I cannot make my mind up which I like best.
Kris Lockyear
It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I'm with Kris - any one of them stands up as a great shot and although they are all essentially the same subject the subtle differences make a notable difference

Live these type of shots,
And you've done an excellent job on these.
Would probably make for a good triptych if you have some in sequence.
Great shooting
I know what i like, If not always why.

Thank you all

Agree shots like these are very similar between images so I tried varying the compositions up when shooting.

A triptych you say .....

Works for me, lovely shots, and great balance between light and movement
You seem to be really getting on with your
28-105mm, I'm struggling to like it.

Thanks Gary

Thanks Derek! It won't replace my Tokina 20-35mm but useful as it has better reach and WR which has come into its own this past few days!
