Taken with the K1 and Sigma 20mm. I have done a little colour grading to the shadows.

Both lovely, 👍 but for me #2.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

Yes. #1 is just a bit too dark for me. The PoV is bang on - I wonder if the string of lights in the 1st one is contributing to us not liking it so much? (It's off center).
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I think David's point about the lights is notable - I know there's not a lot you can do about them but no lights would make for a better overall image (just my view though) - otherwise a nice pair of piers (try saying that after a few beers)

The lights from No 2 with everything else from No 1, please! I rather like the darkier, moodier feel of the first.

#1 all the way for me Gareth. The off-center lights are very dynamic and my eye just sweeps in (through the bench) and out (with the lights) of the image in a neverending movement, giving a wonderful sense of depth and of being there.

Thanks all. Yeah the opening image I made it darker as I was trying to create some depth in the image but I appreciate it's a bit hit and miss!
Dang those lights - I'll have to do a version without them.... maybe tomorrow!
