I have just gotten a Pentax K-7, I love it but somehow when I download my pictures to my computer it downloads them in random order and drives me crazy. Is there someway to make them go in the order they were taken? I have never had this problem with any other camera I used. Thanks

Welcome Joyce - sorry can't help there but I'm willing to believe it's in your settings somewhere .

Welcome to the forum Joyce

What happens if you close the folder then open it up again? Are they in sequential order then?

Keep asking questions we all do, and we all learn

Right click in the folder and check that the correct "Arrange Icons by" is selected.

Files can be arranged in various formats depending on what properties are set for that folder, for example by name, size, date, etc etc

If you need further help sorting it our it would help to know what OS you have, eg if its Windows then what version.

Thanks everyone, but when I close my file and reopen it, it is still the same. But I went in and played with the setting and set the day and time and took more pictures then downloaded them to my computer and they were in the order that I took them..So maybe that was the problem! I hope so, but thanks guys!

Good to hear, I suspect you must have had your settings to sort by size rather than name or date.
