Photoshop running slow

Because USB 3 is the most likely future standard for plug and play devices and I just want to be future proof that's why I also want to have SATA 3.

Impressive hard drive, but it looks like SCSCI all over again where they just priced everything out of the market. I've still got load of SCSI gear that cost and fortune, but SCSI just went out of fashion.

You can always buy a USB3 card to use with any board. I think a lot of manufacturer's aren't interested at present because of the price of the chip from NEC.

I used to update my system every year... cost a fortune, now as long as it's running that's all I bother about Systems are never up to date

Just read this Friday that the NEC USB3-chip will go down in price the end off this year.

About the updating, neither am I but I do upgrade the GPU or the amount of ram over time and the CPU. That's why I want a solid motherboard that can withstand the times off time for 4 or 5 years.
My current motherboard is 6 year old and had all the new connections besides DDR2 at that time so I've had SATA2 and PCIe and that kept the system quite up-to-date even with the old CPU but that's getting too old now
