Once you start to load that up it will be very bulky and unwieldy. Not for me.
A Billingham Hadley Pro does me just fine for 99% of the time. Nothing needs to be unzipped and access is rapid without having to put the bag down. I have dozens of other bags should I need them as I can never resist them....

Take a look at the Lowepro system - they offer a belt and two choices of shoulder straps, one of which produces a waistcoat arrangement that you fit their Sliplock lens cases and pouches to. Not cheap but first rate quality and very comfy to wear.

Tried one and gave up. As John said, bulky and I also found it uncomfortable.

Much better to organise your bag for the shoot and carry less and save £80 or spend it on some more kit, or even a better bag that you can access more readily
I looked into a vest of sorts and also deceided it would be too akward, esspecially if you need to crouch or lie down to get that shot.

I have looked at a number of solutions with photo vests, and came to the same conclusion, once I have what I needed in the vest, it is too bulky to work with. Instead I have a number of different bags including one sling that is easy access, each with a particular type of shoot in mind. The determination of what bag is used depends on the number of bodies and lenses that are required. As to brand of bag(s), that is like purchasing a car, each has their own preference in what they like and how it fits their needs.

Just remember if you have easy access so do others. I had a zip pocket undone in Amsterdam and never felt a thing. I use a Lowepro that zips against my back so the only way in to my kit is when it`s off my back.

For a Photo Vest substitute have a look in army clothing stores. I bought a multi pocketed combat jacket with zip-off sleeves, for much less than a genuine article.
