I like the site but was surprised when I couldn't access certain articles. I understand that there is always a cost to running a site but its usually borne by those benefitting commercially. I would have also thought that the adverts on most pages would bring in enough revenue to run the site.
Ah well.

And an update.
My PU plus membership has save me about £50 in the last 3 months. I've saved postage and had a discount on Pentax bits from SRS and a genuine discount on a repair from Johnstones. When added to my enjoyment of the site I would say I am now convinced that the small subscription is well worth it.

I shall continue and possibly upgrade my subscription. Although my contribution has been minimal, I log in almost daily and learn new stuff which has been useful and informative. I echo all the positive comments made so far.

Or you could just drop your equipment from a great height and take advantage of the 20% discount on repairs from Johnstones. I must spend more at certain shops so I can recoup the subscription

I personally think that 9.99 a year is really good value for money, I have learned quite a lot from the various forums, I have sold a few things, I have bought a few things, would have probably saved the money on Ebay fees, I know I dont post a lot, but I am on every day,I for one will definately renew next year.

I like the help that we get and the fun days out!
When we meet all the others from the site.
I have been over to Italy and met one of the nicest fellas you could ever meet, and met some really good friends, I could not have met them if not on the site?
I say pay up and support the site it’s worth it.
ps sorry if my wording not good tonight ive have a drink whooooow LOL
Thanks Shaun
